Abstract:Introduction. Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) and its subtypes, granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) and eosinophilic GPA (EGPA), frequently present with acute kidney injury and can often lead to kidney failure, even with successful induction therapy.
