Abstract:Design of high-efficiency and stable platinum-free electrocatalysts for electrochemical water splitting is crucial and challenging for clean energy development. Herein, we present a kind of bimetallic electrocatalyst (FeRuNG) by anchoring bimetallic nanoparticles on N-doped porous graphene through pyrolysis of iron and ruthenium sources in the presence of the nitrogen-doped porous graphene. Impressively, the optimum FeRuNG electrocatalyst shows a low overpotential for both hydrogen evolution reaction (83 mV) a… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
