Abstract:Patagonia, a cul-de-sac for the continental dispersal of Homo sapiens into the Americas, has been extensively analyzed by archaeologists and bioanthropologists. Despite its deep and rich archaeological record, the genetic make up of its pre-contact inhabitants is barely known.
