Abstract: Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is an effective but not curative treatment for advanced and recurrent prostate cancer (PC). We investigated the mechanisms controlling the response to androgen-deprivation by surgical castration in genetically-engineered mouse models (GEMM) of PC, using high frequency ultrasound imaging to rigorously measure tumor volume.
