Anecdotes, Experience, and ‘Learning By Osmosis’: The Role of Professional Cultures in Preparing Teachers for Parent-School Engagement

Abstract: Initial teacher education and experiences of the professional cultures of teaching contribute to teachers' understandings about how to engage with parents.
