Water is an important factor to sustain life and for such a reason it is necessary to take care of it since this is a limited resource. In Peruvian agriculture; however, there is a high percentage of water wasted, as this activity consumes 92% of fresh water; thus, making Peru the 37 th country worldwide in misusing water. Due to the aforementioned and considering that the agricultural sector is an important factor for the Peruvian economy, the current study aims to implement a system for automatic irrigation of crop fields in Peru, with the goal of optimizing the use of water and not to waste it as it usually happens. After the implementation of the first prototype of the irrigation system using an Arduino microcontroller and low-cost electronic components, it could be observed that during the tests, 75 and 76.5% of the water that is normally used for irrigation was saved for a dry rainless and dry rainy patch of crop field, respectively. The monitoring of the humidity of the soil was possible due to bluetooth communication. The presented results show the viability of the system and in a follow-up study, largescale tests are expected.

Abstract. This study explores the spatial relationship between the number of recorded events of the Safe Delivery App, which is a mobile learning tool to train midwives in developing countries, during three months, and several independent variables, including the number of health facilities, pregnancies, number of women of childbearing age, number of infants aged 0–1 years, mobile network coverage data and total population density. The study aims to identify and analyse the reach of the Safe Delivery App at the district level in Ghana country, considering the correlation between dependent and independent variables. The geospatial analysis of App usage events layered with several related explanatory variables is based on Geographically Weighted Regression. The explanatory variables were able to predict and explain the number of events with of accuracy score of 90 % at the district level. The results have provided valuable insights into the further roll-out of the App and helped to highlight the districts that need further support to roll out the Safe Delivery App considering the analysed independent variables.

Design of a Web System for the Control of Anemia Patients under the Agile Scrum Methodology, Lima - Peru

The present article shows the design of a web system for the administration of patients with anemia using adobe XD through the SCRUM methodology in the Growth Control and Development service of the health facility El Progreso in Lima -Peru, where the records of patients and micronutrients are done manually causing the loss of data or unnecessary duplication of it. The design method used was the Trello tool in conjunction with Adobe XD and the SCRUM agile methodology. As a case study, the present one was carried out through 4 fundamental stages according to the agile method: the stories of the users were planned, the design was developed, the sprints were reviewed and finally the sprint was retrospective. According to the results, the system entry module, the patient and micronutrient registration module, and a treatment progress report module were designed. These results could help health authorities make better decisions to combat anemia through optimal data organization.
