The trisomy 8 mosaicism (T8M) or Warkany syndrome is a rare chromosomal abnormality Warkany es una anomalía cromosómica poco frecuente (1:25,000 a 1:50,000 births) with a higher incidence in men (5:1), associated with a multisystem disorder. It may be related with difficult intubation, hematological malignancies, facial deformities, musculoskeletal anomalies, cardiac malformation, kidney disfunction, mental retardation, eye and skin problems. That is why the pre-anesthehtic evaluation should be exhaustive, planning for a probable difficult airway following the algorithms of the current guides and intraoperative hemodynamic monitoring to find the appropiate anesthetic management.
