Abstract: A 42-year-old woman was prescribed the second-generation 4-fluoroquinolone antibiotic ofloxacin to cure loose movements. However, after taking the medication, she developed lip edema. Antibiotics called fluoroquinolones are frequently administered for a variety of medical disorders.
