Angiogenesis Meets Skeletogenesis: The Cross-Talk between Two Dynamic Systems

Abstract: In this chapter, we describe the complex relationship between angiogenesis and skeletogenesis. While much is known about the interactions of these two dynamic systems for bones that ossify via a cartilage template, comparatively litle is known about directly ossifying bones.
