“…The Chinese version of the Anderson symptom Assessment scale (MDASI-C), the revised MDASI-C consists of three parts [ 19 ]. The first part assesses the severity of 13 common symptoms of cancer, such as drowsiness, fatigue, and pain, within 24 hours, with each score from 0 to 10, representing the range from “asymptomatic” to “the most severe imaginable”.…”

“…Among coumarin derivatives, compound 15 ( Scheme 6 ) did not show any Hsp90 inhibitory activities, but additional investigations revealed its ability to interrupt MAPK signaling pathway by inhibiting the level of p-ERK and p-MEK; this function would be useful in anticancer activities [ 90 ]. Blagg et al illustrated that the 4-hydroxyl and the 3′-carbamate functional groups of novobiocin have proven to be detrimental as their essential components for Hsp90 inhibitory activity by SAR studies.…”

“…Coumarin derivatives are the heterocyclic compounds that contain the structure of 1,2-benzopyrone, widespread in nature as potent secondary metabolites with a variety of excellent pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory ( Grover and Jachak, 2015 ), antioxidation ( Singh et al, 2020 ), antibacterial ( Charmforoshan et al, 2022 ), antithrombosis ( Sashidhara et al, 2012 ), anti-HIV ( Xu et al, 2021 ) and antitumor ( Wu et al, 2020 ). Because of their outstanding antitumor activity and relatively low side effects ( Cai et al, 2013 ; Ahmed et al, 2021 ; de la Cruz-Concepción et al, 2021 ; Chu et al, 2022 ; Song et al, 2022 ), coumarin derivatives have attracted tremendous research interest. It was reported that the coumarin derivatives connected with dihydroartemisinic ( Figure 1A ) exhibited potent cytotoxicity against human colon and breast cancer cells through inhibition of carbonic anhydrase IX ( Yu et al, 2018 ).…”
