Abstract:The consumption of a high-sodium diet (HSD) is injurious and known to elevate blood pressure (BP), especially in obesity. Acute infusion studies depict a functional interdependency between angiotensin-II type 2 receptor (AT2R) and receptor Mas (MasR).
