Angular dispersion effects in the acoustoelectric interaction in ZnO and CdS

Abstract: A theoretical investigation of the wave dispersion effects in the acoustoelectric interaction in ZnO and CdS has been made. The contributions to the velocity dispersion and the angular dispersion from acoustoelectric and elastic anisotropy are discussed. In particular, the acoustoelectric angular dispersion of the quasi‐transverse (T2) mode and the quasilongitudinal (L) mode for different acoustic frequencies has been studied.
