Angular Distribution of Photoprotons from Nitrogen

Abstract: SummaryThe energy distribution and angular distributions of protons ejected from nitrogen by 11· 5 MeV bremsstrahlung ha.ve been measured. From the results obtained, it is concluded tha.t the (y,p) reaction in nitrogen is due to magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole transitions for photon energies of 7·6-11 MeV.
