Anharmonic Effects in Heat Capacity and Saturation Vapour Pressure of Dilute Substitutional Alloys

Abstract: The contribution to the heat capacity and equilibrium pressure of the vapour over crystals due to the anharmonicity of atomic vibrations is calculated. It is shown that the anharmonicity changes the temperature dependence of the saturation pressure. This change is simply connected with the anharmonic addition to the heat capacity.
