Anisocoria in the dog provoked by a toxic contact with an ornamental plant: Datura stramonium

Abstract: We report an unusual case of anisocoria in the dog provoked by Datura stramonium, and an experimental clinical assay to reproduce the anisocoria using simple contact with part of the plant in four healthy dogs. Any part of the D. stramonium plant produced anisocoria following simple contact with the eye.
