Abstract:The growth of ruthenium‐substituted lithium ferrite and nickel ferrite single crystals from a PbO/B2O3 and a Na2Mo2O7 flux, respectively, was investigated. Anisotropy and magnetostriction measurements have been performed by means of ferromagnetic resonance between 4.2 and 500 K. For the ordered lithium ferrite the anisotropy contributions of the ruthenium ions turn out to be ΔK1 1.5 cm−1/ion and ΔK2 −16 cm−1/ion at 77K. In the case of nickel ferrite ΔK1 and ΔK2 were found to be −13 and −18 cm−1/ion, respective… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
