Anisotropy effects on baryogenesis in f(R) theories of gravity

Abstract: We study the f (R) theory of gravity in an anisotropic metric and its effect on the baryon number to entropy ratio. The mechanism of gravitational baryogenesis based on the CPT-violating gravitational interaction between derivative of the Ricci scalar curvature and the baryon-number current is investigated in the context of the f (R) gravity. The gravitational baryogenesis in the Bianchi type I (BI) Universe is examined. We survey the effect of anisotropy of the Universe on the baryon asymmetry from point of v… Show more

“…Basing on the covariant non-equilibrium thermodynamic description, Lima et al [46,47] have derived the standard expressions for the energy density ρ R and number density n R as the function of the temperature i.e., ρ R ∝ T 4 R and n R ∝ T 3 R . Moreover, the expression for ρ has been suggested as [41],…”

“…Nozari and Rajabi [40] explored the issue of baryon asymmetric with f (R, T ) gravity. Aghamohammadi et al [41] have studied the effect of f (R) gravity on the baryon-to-entropy ratio. Arbuzova and Dolgov [42] have shown the instability effects both in gravitational baryogenesis and in f (R) gravity.…”

“…The dynamical evolution of an f (R) model of gravity in a viscous and anisotropic background given by B-I space-time is discussed by Saaidi et al [33]. Also, the anisotropy effects on baryogenesis in f (R) gravity are examined in reference [34].…”

“…In [19] the baryon asymmetry is generated dynamically during an inflationary epoch powered by ultra-relativistic particle production. In [20][21][22] has been suggested that anisotropy of the universe can enhance the generation of the baryon asymmetry. The authors of [22] clarified, if we into account the gravitino problem (T RD < 10 9 GeV ), gravitational baryogenesis [9] is incapable to explain generation of sufficient baryon asymmetry.…”
