Anisotropy Magnetoelectric Coupling in NiFe2O4/Bi5Ti3FeO15 0‐3 Type Nanocomposite Films

Abstract: Multiferroic NiFe2O4/Bi5Ti3FeO15 (NFO/BTFO) 0‐3 type nanocomposit films are synthesized by combining hydro‐thermal and sol‐gel methods. Structure, ferroelectric, magnetic, and magnetoelectric properties for the nanocomposite films are investigated. High magnetoelectric coupling effect has been obtained at room temperature, which is originated from the stress transfer between two different components. Such 0‐3 type structure can effectively depress the clamp effect from the substrate. Moreover, the nanocomposit… Show more

“…Moreover, the BFTO-4/NBT composite film possessed weak FM property and the values of 2M r and saturation magnetization are similar with those of pure BFTO-4 film, implying that the magnetism mainly comes from the BFTO-4. In addition, in Zhao's group, the multiferroic properties of bilayer Bi 4 Ti 3 O 12 /BFTO-4 [147], BiFeO 3 /BFTO-4 [148], CoFe 2 O 4 / BFTO-4 [149], and NiFe 2 O 4 /BFTO-4 [150] composite films were reported too, which were all prepared by the chemistry solution deposition.…”
