Abstract:Motivated by the need for higher torque density actuators in novel (quasi-)direct-drive robotics applications, a Yokeless and Segmented Armature Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Synchronous machine with anodised aluminium foil conductors instead of enamelled copper wire is considered in this work.
