Abstract:Anorectal abscess is a rare cause of pelvic pain in pregnancy which may present as excruciating pelvic pain. Ultrasound and MRI are the preferred
imaging investigations. The standard treatment is incision and drainage under anaesthesia. We report a case of U shaped anorectal abscess
presented in third trimester.
