Abstract

RESUMEN ANTECEDENTS OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS' STUDY: VALIDATION OF A STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODEL BASED ON THE THEORY OF INTERPERSONAL BEHAVIOUR IN CHILE ABSTRACTThe aim of this paper is to explore the factors that predict the behaviour of study by university students. A survey based on the Theory of Interpersonal Behaviour conducted to 137 Chilean university students was used to measure this phenomenon. Structural EquationModelling was used to analyse the model. The results indicate that the model explains 54% of the study behaviour, and point to the habit as the key antecedent of this behaviour.
