The purpose of this study is to determine the role of web-design, e-payment and e-traceability in developing customer satisfaction with the mediating role of consumer behavior in emerging bricks and clicks businesses trends in South Punjab. In the era of Covid-19, the online businesses are increased in South Punjab, but customer’ satisfaction is still a challenge in bricks and clicks businesses. In this study, random sampling technique was used to collect the quantitative data from the target population of South Punjab on a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The study demonstrates there is a significant role of web-design, e-payment and e-traceability in developing customer satisfaction with the mediating role of consumer behavior in South Punjab. This study has significant theoretical as well as practical implications. It contributes a theoretical framework to knowledge explaining relationship of variables. It also provides a way to increase customers’ satisfaction for online businesses in South Punjab.

Towards Achieving 100% Renewable Energy Supply for Sustainable Climate Change in Pakistan

Fossil fuel-based energy systems are mostly used for supplying energy that creates negative impacts on the environment, so in this study, the development of a 100% renewable energy system is evaluated for Pakistan for sustainable climate change. This study modeled three scenarios, namely, ongoing (ONG), energy saving policy (ESP), and green energy policy (GEP) scenarios using low emission analysis platform (LEAP) software for the study period 2022 to 2050 for Pakistan. The results revealed that a 100% renewable energy supply could be achieved through the GEP scenario. Model results show that the share of renewable sources in the total energy mix is 1117.08 TWh and non-renewable sources contribute only 18.12 TWh to meet the energy demand of 966.05 TWh until 2050. Non-renewable production leads to the generation of 8.85 million metric tons of carbon emissions, which is too low compared with the 135.47 million metric tons under the ONG scenario. The USD 1482.46 billion investment cost required for adding renewable energy capacity until 2050 is too high as compared with the USD 46.80 billion under the ONG scenario. Energy demand and production requirements are reduced by 34.18% under the ESP scenario until 2050. This approach can also be applicable to the majority of nations worldwide.

The modern organizational structure expects that the human resource department should train the employees effectively to sustain the environment. This study aims to understand the role of green human resource management (GHRM) in the efficiency of organizations’ employees in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of Pakistan. The questionnaire was developed on a five-point Likert scale to collect primary data from the target respondents, and the target respondents of this study were the employees of SMEs in Pakistan. The results of the study indicate that GHRM is an important tool to motivate and train employees, which ultimately increases the efficiency of employees. This study demonstrates that the SMEs in Pakistan need to consider the critical role of GHRM as it is emerging and provides reliable resources as per the organization’s requirements for better performance. This study provides recommendation for future studies to consider and contribute to the literature and to the practices of SMEs in Pakistan for the efficiency of their employees.
