Western perspective dominantly sees the Middle East in negative stereotypes. Many ways from many backgrounds start to criticize this perspective, including comedians utilizing comedy narration. This research aims at discovering how comedian represents Middle East and how the response manifests commenter’s attitude, applying descriptive qualitative research as a logical consequence that the data are in forms of stand-up performance transcription uploaded to YouTube and its sample comments from its comment column. Process of identifying Middle East representation and commenter’s attitude respectively utilizes Halliday’s transitivity and Martin & White’s appraisal system narrowed to attitude subsystem. The research results conclusions as follow. First, in terms of representation, the comedy narration provides an alternative platform to positively represent the Middle East, while second, commenter’s responses in attitude perspective mostly support the positive representation by showing their positive affection within themselves, favorable judgment in entity perspective, and affirmative appreciation to the happening event. This research attempt to see stimulated attitude after a representation in a specific social issue appears, while other researches documented in this writing integrate both theories at the same hierarchy. The relation varies in perspective of the audience stimulated by the discourse and who affirmatively experienced the discourse. At this point, comedy may have potency as a platform to pleasantly criticize sensitive issues

This sense of security fosters economic growth, cultural exchange, and long-term sustainability in the tourism sector, making it a vital factor for the success of this industry worldwide. Findings reveal that peace and security play a pivotal role in making Switzerland an attractive destination for tourists, driving international visitor numbers and promoting the growth of the tourism industry. Switzerland's reputation as a peaceful and neutral country contributes significantly to the positive international image that attracts tourists. Peace and security are vital for economic growth, fostering investments in tourism-related infrastructure, creating jobs, and sustaining the industry's long-term development. In conclusion, the significance of peace and security to the growth and development of the tourism industry in Switzerland is undeniable. These factors are the bedrock upon which the country's tourism success is built, attracting travelers, fostering economic growth, and facilitating cultural exchange. Switzerland's enduring commitment to peace and security not only underpins its tourism industry but also reinforces its position as a global tourism leader. The study recommended that Switzerland should continue to prioritize security measures that balance safety with a welcoming atmosphere to ensure tourists feel secure without feeling overly monitored, thus enhancing the overall visitor experience. Collaborative efforts with international stakeholders, including diplomatic conferences and cultural exchanges, should be continued and expanded, leveraging Switzerland's reputation as a peaceful and neutral nation to further enhance its appeal to tourists and foster global cooperation.

How Does Educational Travel Promote Lifelong Learning?

Travel contributes to learning and learning can make travel more meaningful. However, the extant literature that exemplifies how educational travel influences an individual's attitude toward learning is limited. Based on social constructivism and self‐determination theory, and utilizing an online survey (N = 321), this study examines how university students' educational travel experiences lead to changes in academic motivation and wellbeing, which may enhance attitudes toward lifelong learning. The conceptual model of lifelong learning in relation to educational travel, academic motivation, and wellbeing is developed and confirmed. The full mediation effect of academic motivation and wellbeing is established. The survey results reveal a positive relationship between educational travel experience and learners' attitude change in lifelong learning. The study highlights the role of educational travel experience in promoting attitudinal changes toward lifelong learning, which provides implications to both travel companies and educational institutes for design and development of educational travel activities and programs.
