Abstract:Antenna selection is a promising technique for construction of multiple-antenna wireless communication devices with lower hardware complexity, while maintaining most of the gains predicted by the information theory. This paper discusses methods for antenna selection in the context of spatial multiplexing systems with non-linear receivers which combine minimum mean-square error equalization with successive interference cancellation. The benefits of eventual transmitter power control are shown, as well. The sele… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
