Abstract:During the collection of macrofungi resources in Son Tra Nature Reserve, Danang, Vietnam, a novel species of the genus Anthracophyllum living saprophytically on small shrubs and rotten wood of Mussaenda frondosa Linn in the forest at an elevation 368 m above the sea level was recorded. The phylogenetic analyses based on the combined ITS and LSU molecular markers placed the specimens within Anthracophyllum genus.
