“…Other variables that may affect the chemical composition of the bulk precipitation are the total dry period preceding the rain event and the volume of rainfall in the previous event. In analyzing the effect of dry period prior to the event of rain on the chemical composition of bulk precipitation samples was found a strong positive correlation for all ions except H + (Table 13), this observation has been reported by others authors [26,27].
