Abstract: Vicenin-2, a flavonoid categorized as a flavones subclass, exhibits a distinctive and uncommon C-glycosidic linkage. Emerging evidence challenges the notion that deglycosylation is not a prerequisite for the absorption of C-glycosyl flavonoid in the small intestine.
