“…During the development of BACE1 inhibitors of natural products origin, many studies directed the attention toward naturally occurring polyphenolic compounds, like flavonoids, particularly polymethoxyflavones extracted from black ginger ( Kaempferia parviflora [KP]). KP plant was primarily known to have antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, and antifatigue properties .
