Anti-control of chaos in p–Ge photoconductor

Abstract: We present a scheme for the anti-control of chaos in the p-Ge photoconductor system by using a chaotic laser to irradiate and disturb this system. The numerical simulations show that this scheme can be effectively used to control periodic states in this p-Ge system into chaotic states. Moreover, the different chaos states with different chaotic orbits can be obtained by appropriately adjusting the disturbance intensity and disturbance frequency, and by increasing this intensity or reducing this frequency, this… Show more

“…In 1990, Pecora and Carroll presented the concept of "chaotic synchronization" for the first time [1] and introduced a method to synchronize two identical chaotic systems with different initial conditions [2]. Chaos synchronization has become an active research subject in nonlinear science because of its potential applications in some engineering and technological applications [3][4][5][6][7][8][9]. In 1999, Mainieri et al discovered a new method of synchronization, i.e., projective synchronization [10].…”

“…The refractive index ratio of a colloid (such as polystyrene (PS), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or SiO 2 ) to the background of the air in colloidal crystal is often low, hence, we obtain a pseudo-PBG in most cases. [8] If a high dielectric constant material infiltrates into the voids of colloidal spheres and then removes the colloids by hyperthermia or chemical etching, a high refractive index ratio of inverse opal structure material is obtained. In a photonic crystal with a complete PBG, spontaneous emission is inhibited fully because the optical electromagnetic mode does not exist in the PBG frequency range.…”

“…As we know, electrospinning has been regarded as a simple and versatile approach for fabricating high long-aspect ratio ultrafine fibers with diameters ranging from several microns down to a few nanometers [1][2][3][4][5]. In a conventional electrospinning process, a thin charged jet is formed when the electrostatic force generated by a high operating voltage overcomes the surface tension of the polymer droplet.…”
