Anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of leaves of Chromolaena odorata L. (King and Robinson)

Abstract: This study was to evaluate anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of the aqueous extract of leaves of Chromolaena odorata (Asteraceae) collected in Brazzaville-Congo. Acute inflammation was induced by using the carrageenan and formaldehyde models, and chronic inflammation by the cotton pellet induced granuloma model.
