Anti-inflammatory Renoprotective Effect of Clopidogrel and Irbesartan in Chronic Renal Injury

Abstract: Recent evidence suggests that platelet activation and angiotensin II may each contribute to glomerular inflammation and fibrosis. Clopidogrel inhibits platelet activation and may also reduce inflammation.
