Anti‐laminin γ1 (p200) pemphigoid appearing with rosette‐like herpetiform lesions

Abstract

Dear Editor, Anti-laminin c1 pemphigoid (ALc1-P) or anti-p200 pemphigoid is a rare subepidermal blistering disease characterized by autoantibodies directed against a 200-kDa component (p200) of the basement membrane zone, in which laminin c1 represents the autoantigen in this condition. 1-5 We report a case of ALc1-P appearing with unusual rosette-like herpetiform lesions mimicking linear immunoglobulin (Ig)A bullous dermatosis (LABD). A 65-year-old woman presented with rosette-like herpetiform lesions, small bullae and erosions mainly affecting the genital and inguinal region, the trunk and the extremities, including the palms and soles (Fig. 1). Mucous membranes, including the conjunctiva and the oral and nasal mucosa, were also affected by hemorrhagic erosions.
