Abstract:This paper has the purpose to analyse the relevance of the use of angiogenesis inhibitors (anti-VEGF drugs) in the treatment of the proliferative stage of diabetic retinopathy. The literature review was carried out using the search engines PubMed, the Library, and the analysis of literature sources, 30 in number, published from 2000 to 2024.
