Anti‐windup scheme based on 2DOF‐PIλDμcontroller for velocity tracking of linear induction motor

Abstract: Summary Recently, a new scheme of conventional PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller has been utilized in different electrical drives for speed control. This paper presents an optimal P IλDμ controller with 2DOF and anti‐windup techniques based on PSO optimization to produce the proposed controller which is exploited in order to control the velocity control of LIM. A three‐phase inverter with SVPWM technique that is depended on approach of IFOC method is exploited to obtain the necessary output vol… Show more

“…One of the most frequently mentioned drawbacks of fuzzy logic methods is the lack of adequate resources for analysing the controller's results, such as stability, optimality, robustness, and so on [12] 𝑃 𝐼 𝜆 𝐷 𝜇 + 2DOF+ antiwindup strategies depend upon PSO Powerful in terms of improving the motor's performance PSO has several drawbacks, including the inability to address scattering problems, the difficulty in defining initial design parameters, and the possibility of converging early and being stuck in a local minimum while dealing with complicated problems [13] DTFC with several PI Reduced in the forcer thrust and flux ripple by around 0.8 percent…”

“…In [11] suggests a novel secondary field-oriented control model of LIM that depends upon a fuzzy self-adapting PI controller that takes the impact of the longitudinal end effect into account. This work [12] provides an optimal 𝑃 𝐼 𝜆 𝐷 𝜇 controller with 2DOF and anti-windup strategies depend upon PSO Optimization, which is utilized to control the linear induction motor velocity. In [13] the LIM speed control method is proposed in this study, which leads to optimal control of motor characteristics like, flux, current, and thrust based on the DTFC method.…”

“…The popular performance standards based on the error condition are integrated absolute error (IAE), integrated of time weight square error (ITSE), and integrated of square error (ISE) that can be estimated theoretically in the frequency domain [31,32,36]. In this chapter, multiobjective functions are utilized based on the integral of the squared error (ISE) criterion and overshoot (M p Þ criterion as follow [37,38]: ei ðÞ¼Di ðÞÀyi ðÞ (12) where y(i) is the system output and D(i) is the desired output, while n is the actual speed and n ref is the desired speed.…”
