They are identified for the treatment of high blood pressure (Bhatia, 1942;Vakil, 1955;Achor et al, 1955), arrhythmia (Arora and Madan, 1956;Kostin et al, 1990), various mental disorders (Kline, 1954), fever (malaria) (Zirihi et al, 2005), microbial (Shariff et al, 2006;Suresh et al, 2008), intestinal and spleen ailments (Yu et al, 2013), oxidative stress (Harisaranraj et al, 2009;Gupta et al, 2015) and cancer (Yu et al, 2013).
