Abstract:Recently, due to the growth of bacterial infections resistant to antibiotics, there is an urgent need to develop alternative antibacterial drugs. Alkyl-indolyl-L-lysine is a promising class of compounds; their amphiphilic structure is key in antimicrobial ef cacy.
