Abstract: The rind of the citron (Citrus hytrix DC), manurun banana (Musaparadisiaca Linn), and pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr) fruit contains antibacterial compounds of flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins, which have the potential to be used as alternative antiseptic ingredients.
