Antibiotic action of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) isolated from the digestive tract ofthepiglet (Susscrofa domesticus)

Abstract

Acción antibiótica de bacterias ácido lácticas (BAL) aisladas del tracto digestivo del lechón (Sus scrofa domesticus)Resumen Los animales van adquiriendo bacteria benéfica que se establecen y permanecen durante las diferentes etapas de su vida, estas ejercen acciones antimicrobianas, formando la flora natural del animal. Con el objeto de estudiar y medir la acción benéfica de estas bacterias del tracto digestivo del lechones (Sus scrofa domesticus), se aislaron, identificaron y caracterizaron 9 bacterias cultivables a las cuales se midió su acción bactericida para el control de patógenos del tracto digestivo del lechón, se realizaron pruebas de antagonismo directa, pruebas de pocillo con extracto bacteriano ácido y neutros, como respuesta se presentaron halos de inhibición, las bacterias ácido lácticas (BAL) fueron extraídas del tracto digestivo de dos lechones provenientes del estómago, duodeno, yeyuno e íleon del intestino delgado y además del ciego, colon y recto, para la acción BAL se descartaron bioquímicamente, a 9 de ellas se realizó pruebas de antagonismos enfrentándolas a patógenos del lechón Eschericha y Shiguela, los halos de inhibición determinan la susceptibilidad contra los patógenos, encontrándose el mayor efecto con el extracto bacteriano sin neutralizar y la BAL 07 como la mejor, a las cuales se le puede denominar como BAL con capacidad antimicrobiana. AbstractThe animals are acquiring beneficial bacteria that are established and remain during the different stages of their life, these exert antimicrobial actions, forming the natural flora of the animal.
