Abstract:Background and Aim: A.marmelos is commonly called as Bael and is used as a medicinal plant mostly in the Ayurveda. Bael has the property of gastrointestinal effect. Bael phytochemicals are radioprotective, chemoprotective and it has efficacious properties in the treatment of cancer and its preventions.
