Abstract:The antimicrobial influence of a discharge with a liquid cathode on an electrode liquid at atmo spheric pressure was studied. The degree of the antimicrobial action of the discharge was shown to depend on the treatment regime and on the species of investigated microorganism test cultures. Gram negative bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens show the most prominent sensitivity to the treatment.
