Abstract:Purpose:We performed this study to compare 1-day group using a 2nd generation cephalsporin with 3-day group for evaluating hospital acquired infection. Hospital evaluation using clinical performance indicators can considerably improve the use of SAP. Further studies are warranted to investigate whether this hospital evaluation will decrease the development of SSIs.
