Antimycobacterial Activity of Milemaronol, a New Squalene-Type Triterpene, and Other Isolate?

Abstract: A new triterpene, named milemaronol (1), was isolated from Homalolepis suffruticosa Engl., Simaroubaceae, along with 10 known metabolites, chaparrinone (2), scopoletin (3), 5-methoxycanthin-6-one (4), eurylene (5), hispidol A (6), hispidol B (7), nilocitine (8), α-dihydronylocytine (9), β-dihydronylocytine (10), and teurilene (11).
