Abstract: Oxidative stress is a conjoint pathological mechanism that can be triggered by free radicals leading to cellular senescence or apoptosis. Antioxidants have the potential to inhibit free radicals’ generation and balance the irregulated oxidative stress to restore cellular homeostasis.
