Critically, the internal consistency of the five-item subscale score was excellent (α = 0.92) and comparable to prior studies using the full six-item subscale (Norr, Albanese, Allan, & Schmidt, 2015), providing justification for the use of the 5-item subscale for the proposed analyses.
