Aortic valve repair with pericardial leaflet extension for aortic valve insufficiency

Abstract: IntroductionThe surgical correction of aortic insufficiency in children and young adults remains a challenge. Homograft replacement and the Ross procedure represent the standard approach with predictable but not perfect results.
