Aphid Control on Tobacco, 1977

Abstract: On-farm tests were conducted in Craven, Wayne, Hertford, Martin, and Sampson counties to determine the potential for aphid control from insecticides applied prior to transplanting flue-cured tobacco. Plots consisted of 4 rows x 78 ft separated by vacant 5th middles and 10 ft alleys between each of 4 replications at Craven and Wayne counties and 2 replications at other sites.
