Apicoplast isoprenoid precursor synthesis and the molecular basis of fosmidomycin resistance in Toxoplasma gondii

Abstract: Expression of a bacterial transporter protein in Toxoplasma gondii results in parasite susceptibility to Formidomycin, a drug targeting isoprenoid precursor synthesis.
