Abstract

This research was undertaken to determine whether the use of Text -Guide and Atlas of Histology and Human Embryology improves the academic performance of students of Dentistry School at Alas Peruanas University in Huacho Subsidiary, Semester 2012 -I. It is an applied research with pre experimental design in a single group, and its purpose was to describe the effect due to the application of Text -Guide and Atlas in the unit of analysis. Sample consisted of students of semester II of classroom Nº 302 which have been the subject of Embryology and General Histology and Dentistry, making a total of 35 students, the data collection procedures were practice tests, the survey questionnaires administered to 1 Docente de postgrado en la segunda especialidad en Estomatología y docente de la Escuela Académica Profesional de Estomatología y Obstetricia de la Facultad de Medicina Humana y Ciencias de la Salud de la UAP filial -Huacho.
