Abstract

The election of the chairman and vice chairman of the student council by implementing a general election system is a process of learning democracy directly for all students. The activity of election of the student council chairman right now still uses paper media to select candidates. Current technological opportunities allow elections to be conducted electronically through an e-voting system. The research aims to design a website-based E-voting application for the election of the student council chairman and vice chairman. The field study method is used to get complete and accurate data, with observation and interview data collection techniques. The designed system is technologically feasible and can be continuously developed. The designed system provides convenience for users both in voting and calculating vote results.
