Aplikasi Penentuan Rute Terpendek Pengambilan Sampah Berbasis Internet of Things Terintegrasi Dengan Google Maps API

Abstract

Solid waste is a sensitive issue involving serious environmental problems in the world today. The situation of direct disposal of waste without proper inspection and segregation has left a serious impact on environmental pollution which has led to a tremendous growth in health problems. This study aims to monitor the level of fullness of waste in trash cans, send the results to a Google map using the Google Maps API and determine the shortest route for waste collection based on the level of fullness of waste. The android application was developed to make it easier for users to find out which trash cans are full and need to be taken immediately and to determine the shortest route using google maps.
